AND THE USRRC

For Immediate Release

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (October 17, 1997)--Wilson Motorsport, Inc. and its
principal Alan Wilson has been retained to provide operations support
for SCCA Pro Racing and the United States Road Racing Championship.

Wilson Motorsport will be responsible for coordinating racing
activities for SCCA Pro Racing and the USRRC, initially concentrating
on the 1998 Rolex 24 at Daytona.

"We're extremely pleased to be able to acquire the services of Wilson
Motorsport and Alan Wilson," said Dan Greenwood, SCCA Pro Racing
president and CEO. "Alan has a proven track record as North America's
finest temporary circuit operations director. His guidance will be
indispensable as the USRRC gears up for the Rolex 24 at Daytona and
the launch of the new Can-Am, GT Championship and revitalized NTB
Trans-Am Series."

Alan Wilson, who is a past director of Brands Hatch Motor Racing
Circuit in Kent, England, has gained worldwide recognition in the
design and operation of racetracks. He has developed several of the
most recent temporary motorsports facilities in America, including
street circuits in Denver, Dallas, Grand Rapids (Mich.) and
Minneapolis. Wilson also has wide experience in international road
racing, having operated Formula One, World Endurance Championship,
CART Indy car, Trans-Am and IMSA GTP events. His recent permanent race
track designs include infield road courses at the Las Vegas Motor
Speedway and Pikes Peak International Raceway, and a new Formula One
track to be built in Korea.

"The USRRC is the most exciting development in North American road
racing in the last 20 years," said Wilson. "I'm honored to be involved
with the ground-up construction of the new Can-Am and GT series. Under
the USRRC umbrella, these series, combined with the NTB Trans-Am
Series, will be North America's preeminent road racing championships."
