KENNY SCHRADER NOTES & QUOTES: ACDELCO 400

ROCKINGHAM, NC - "I look forward to Rockingham. I feel like the Skoal Bandit
Racing team has come a long way since the race in February and a good finish
should put us in the top 10 in the NASCAR point standings."--Kenny
Schrader, driver of the Skoal Bandit Racing Chevrolet

 - "I am anxious to get to Rockingham. Since we were there in February, we
have gone from 28th in points to 11th," says Schrader. "We had a pretty good
run last week at Talladega, but it wasn't good enough to get to victory lane.
We are definitely getting closer and a good run at Rockingham is what we need
to put the Skoal Bandit Racing team into the top 10 in points. We would like a
victory, but our ultimate goal right now is to earn a seat at the 1997 NASCAR
Winston Cup Banquet."

 - Schrader is on the Million Dollar March. Schrader qualified for the new
"Winston No Bull 5" bonus with his top-five finish at Talladega on Oct. 13. If
he wins the Daytona 500 in February, Schrader will take home a $1 million
bonus from the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company.

 - The Skoal Bandit Racing team will utilize "Doc Holliday" this weekend. It
is the same car they raced at Rockingham, Darlington, California, Pocono
(June) and Dover. This particular car has produced three of the four top-10
finishes for the Skoal Bandit Racing team.

 - Schrader posted his first top-five finish of the season last weekend at
Talladega Superspeedway. He led for six laps until he relinquished the lead to
Terry Labonte, who had drafting help from younger brother, Bobby.
