TODD BODINE NOTES & QUOTES: ACDELCO 200
ROCKINGHAM, NC - Bodine earned his tenth career NASCAR Busch Series victory
by winning the inaugural Kenwood Home & Car Audio 300 at California Speedway
on Sunday, October 19. His last victory occurred at South Boston, Va. on June
8, 1996. Bodine has 41 starts since then.
- "My whole team deserves this one," smiled Bodine. "It feels really good to
finally get to victory lane this year, especially for Stanley, our primary
sponsor. They have been such a tremendous supporter of Team 34 Racing, and we
appreciate all that they do for our team."
- Bodine has three top-five finishes in the four inaugural races this year.
He finished third in Las Vegas, fourth in Texas and first in California.
Bodine also won the inaugural NASCAR Busch Series race at Penske's Michigan
International Speedway in 1992.
- The Stanley Pontiac that Bodine will utilize this weekend in Rockingham is
the same car that finished seventh at the North Carolina Motor Speedway
earlier this year.
- Bodine is presently 200 points out of first place in the quest for the
NASCAR Busch Series Championship.
