NASCAR BGN Series ACDelco 200: Friday a.m. Practice Notes

ROCKINGHAM, NC - Three drivers were involved in separate incidents in turn two during this morning's NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division practice session at North Carolina Motor Speedway. Kevin Schwantz spun the #88 Ryder Chevrolet and hit the outside retaining wall damaging the right front and rear fenders. The Ridling Motorsports team is attempting to repair the damage in time for this afternoon's qualifying round. Schwantz was checked out at the Infield Care Center and released. Martin Truex crashed the #56 Blount Seafood Monte Carlo into the outside wall in turn two. Bill Hoff was also involved in an accident in turn two resulting in a fire breaking out in his #86 Chevrolet. Hoff was transported from the Infield Care Center to Richmond Memorial Hospital for observation.
