27 October 1997

Brewco Motorsports, Inc. announced today it will increase its presence
in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in the 1998 season, competing
full-time with driver Scot Walters behind the wheel of its No. 37
Chevrolet. The 29 year-old driver will challenge for the 1998 Cintas
Rookie-of-the Year Award.

Red Man chewing tobacco, a product of Swedish Match North America
Inc., will continue its association with the Brewco Motorsports team
in 1998. The Red Man truck competed in seven truck series races in
1997 with Walters, David Green and Mark Green sharing the driving
duties.

Walters, a Louisville, Kentucky native, launched his truck series
career during the 1997 season, driving the No. 37 Red Man Chevrolet in
three races. His career best finish, seventh, was recorded at
Louisville Speedway in July.

"Scot is an aggressive driver who will be very successful in the truck
series," said team owner Clarence Brewer, Jr. "After watching him
compete in his first race for Brewco Motorsports this year, we knew we
wanted him behind the wheel of the Red Man truck in 1998."

Walters competed full-time in the NASCAR Slim Jim All Pro Series from
1993 to 1995, winning the 1993 Rookie-of-the-Year title. In 1996, he
had his most successful season to date. Competing in only eight Slim
Jim All Pro Series races, Walters scored two wins (Winchester, Indiana
and Homestead, Florida) and scored one pole (Louisville, Kentucky).

"We are very excited about our full-time involvement with Clarence
Brewer, Brewco Motorsports and Scot Walters during the 1998 truck
series season," said Bob Bowden, manager chewing division, Swedish
Match North America. "Scot is a very successful driver and we look
forward to the coming season as he battles for the 1998
Rookie-of-the-Year championship."

Brewco Motorsports, based in Central City Kentucky, was formed in 1995
with the establishment of a NASCAR Busch Series team with driver Mark
Green and sponsored by Timber Wolf brand moist snuff. It has grown to
include the truck series team, which made its debut in 1997.

"I've been racing on my own for the past 10 years," said Walters. "To
have the opportunity to take my career to the next level with Brewco
Motorsports and Red Man is a dream come true. The support of my
family, from the heart and not the billfold, has allowed me to get to
where I am today. I've always been confident my opportunity would
come.

"Clarence Brewer is the ideal team owner," continued Walters. "He
knows what it takes to build a successful team. The three races I ran
in the truck series in 1997 not only allowed me to get my feet wet, it
also proved the depth of the Red Man team. There is no doubt in my
mind we will challenge to win several races in 1998 and the 1998
rookie of the year championship."
