APS Renews Sponsorship of Stevie Reeves' NASCAR BGN Effort

HOUSTON, TX - APS, Inc. will return for the second consecutive year as the 
sponsor of the NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division Thunderbirds 
fielded by CAA Performance Group and driven by Stevie Reeves. 

Reeves has recorded one top-10 finish in the No. 96 Big A Auto Parts Ford and 
is currently 19th in the overall points standings with one race remaining on 
the 1997 schedule. 

"The feedback we received from the first year of our racing program was just 
fantastic," said Robert Holder, Big A corporate marketing vice president. 
"Our store owners are so excited and have gotten involved in supporting our 
Big A race team."

CAA Performance Group consists of winning NASCAR and CART driver John 
Andretti; well-known promoter and administrator Cary Agajanian; former 
California Lt. Governor and winning Winston Cup car owner Mike Curb; and 
well-known motorsports manager Don Laird.
