F-Indy Lights The Brazilian Oswaldo Negri, Jr. was invited by Dorricott Team, to test the Indy-Lights car that the team ran this season. Negri will test on the 11th November, at the Firebird East circuit. Negri is talking to his sponsors, and looking forward to do the Lights season in 1998 and the CART season in 1999. Negri, despite his age, is one of the greatest Brazilian promises. F-Palio Ingo Hoffmann finally won his first race in F-Palio. Ingo, former F-1 Driver, had a spectacular race, starting on pole, making the fastest lap, and winning with a great advantage in Jacarepagua, at the Nelson Piquet circuit. Hoffmann was followed by Paulo Gomes and Jose Mario Castilho. Paulo Gomes leads the championship with one round to go. The next round will be in Interlagos, November 30. Paulo has a 10 point advantage over Ingo, but Ingo is very confident: "I arrived in Rio at 6th place in the points table, now I am leaving in second place, just 10 points behind Paulo" said Hoffmann. 1.
