Circle Track Magazine Announces Racer's Resource Show

          CIRCLE TRACK MAGAZINE ANNOUNCES NEW FOCUS FOR 1998 EXPO 
           THE RACERS' RESOURCE SHOW SET FOR FEBRUARY 11-13, 1998

LOS ANGELES, CA - Circle Track Magazine announced that the 13th Annual Circle 
Track Magazine Racing Expo will be formatted as "The Racers Resource."  
Scheduled during SpeedWeek, February 11-13, 1998, at the Ocean Center in 
Daytona Beach, Florida, the focus of the show has been designed as the 
one-stop shopping center filled with technical information and products vital 
for the serious racer.

"Every racer, from local short track owner/drivers to the professional touring
teams, need quick and easy access to the manufacturers and suppliers that are 
vital to their success on the track," said Dave Myers, Director of Petersen 
Events and spokesperson for the Circle Track Magazine Racing Expo. "Beginning 
with the 1998 Show and building for the future, we have developed a complete 
package of technical seminars, interactive demonstrations, new products and 
manufacturer displays that makes the Circle Track Racing Expo the most 
complete source of product and information in motorsports."

"The addition of seminars led by industry experts plus longer show hours
exclusive to racers and the trade are just the start of our plans for the 
show,"  continued Myers. "By building the technical content of the show and 
presenting it during the preeminent racing event of the year, we are 
developing the Circle Track Racing Expo as the premier motorsports trade show 
in the country and making it accessible to every level of racer."

The three-day event, held just prior to the Daytona 500, will feature several
dynamic seminars presented by top industry experts designed to give attendees 
a jump-start on their season. Seminar subjects will range from engine 
building technology to sponsorship secrets and will be scheduled opposite of 
Daytona International Speedway on-track activities to give racers the 
opportunity to attend all of the seminars. Motorsports television broadcaster 
Ralph Sheheen will serve as seminar emcee and show host.

The Expo will open at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, February 11, 1998. Hours will be 
10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and Friday, and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on 
Thursday, February 12. Racers and trade personnel will have exclusive access 
to the Expo from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 11 and Friday, 
February 13. 

Hour-long technical seminars begin at 2:00 PM on both Wednesday and Friday.  
Thursday's seminar schedule will start at 5:30 PM.

Crews, drivers and race-track personnel holding a valid license from a racing 
sanctioning body will be admitted free if they register prior December 31, 
1997. Racing industry retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers and their 
representatives will receive the free admission for early registration as 
well.

Other show highlights will include a demonstration of the Dynojet Chassis 
Dynamometer, the ever-popular Pit Stop Competition and the AE Clevite Engine 
Building Contest.
