Max Wilson will test a Williams

The Brazilian driver Max Wilson, who competed in this year's F-3000
Championship, was invited to test for Williams. The new Williams, with
red colors because of Winfield--a tobacco company owned by Rothmans--
will have the track on their own, because they didn't wanted to apply
superlicense for Max Wilson. "I am very happy to be invited for this
test. This shows that someone saw my work this season." said Wilson
directly from Barcelona. Max will race next season in F-3000, probably
for Supernova team.

Bruno Junqueira F-3 Champion

Bruno Junqueira clinched the F-3 Sudam Title in the last race in
Florianopolis, where he finished in front of Nestor Gabriel Furlan.
Florianopolis has a street course, that is very difficult. There were 26
drivers at the start and only 6 finished. Junqueira clinched the title
in his 4th season in F-3, and is now moving up to F-3000. He already
tested for Draco and was the fastest of all drivers in Mugello.
Argentinian Nestor Gabriel Furlan was second in the race and also in the
points. "I am very disappointed with this season. Bruno was nearly
unbeatable this season, and we had a lot of problems with the car and
also with the driver itself," said Furlan.
"I am so happy with this title, now my hope is to reach F-1 in 1999"
said Junqueira.

Oswaldo Negri Jr. still looking for Indy-Lights team

Brazilian Oswaldo Negri Jr is still looking to get the full amount to
race next year in Indy-Lights. "We are still having contact to many
companies in Brazil, and we hope to have all set before the end of this
year" said Alfredo Ergas, manager of Oswaldo Negri Jr.
Brazilian Valdeno Brito Filho is favorite to be team mate of Luiz Garcia
Jr in Brian Stewart Racing.
