5 December 1997

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The 1998 Winnebago Minnie from Winnebago Industries, Inc. has all the
equipment needed for fun and excitement this year. The Minnie lineup
offers several new widebody models, and two traditional-width models
for 1998, providing a multitude of floorplan options and value at an
affordable price. A new 31WM model, is also being introduced and
includes a convertible couch/bed and dinette slideout that provides an
additional 110 cubic feet of livability space for the family to enjoy.
The StoreMore(TM) slideout system on this 31-foot model includes large
laminated exterior compartments that extend with the slideout to
easily retrieve your stored items. This slideout is a feature
previously found only in more expensive models that are usually out of
reach for most entry-level buyers.

The widebody design of most new Minnie models provides a full eight
feet of interior space for added floorplan flexibility and additional
exterior storage. With sleeping space of up to six people in some
floorplans, there's even enough room to invite the neighbor kids
along on your next adventure.

Available in 22 feet to 31 feet in length, the Minnie has all the
comforts of home and is built to last. The Minnie is nearly
kid-proof. It's built with high quality fabrics and carpeting that
are tested for durability and treated for stain resistance.

To keep everyone safe and sound, each Minnie has a steel substructure,
improving strength, durability and handling. The wall joint design is
exclusive to Winnebago Industries and is crucial to strengthening
places where the roof, sidewalls and floor meet.

The Minnie utilizes the patented Thermo-Panel® insulated roof and
sidewalls that are designed with aluminum framework sandwiched inside,
allowing the motor home to stand up to some of the most rigorous tests
performed in the RV industry.

With the superior insulation in roof and sidewalls, fresh water tanks
and lines located above the floor level, as well as available
dual-pane windows, the Minnie is truly a motor home for all
