Aerodynamic Suncruiser Provides Expansive Storage and Widebody/Slideout Floorplans

5 December 1997

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The aerodynamic Itasca Suncruiser from Winnebago Industries,
Inc. features new widebody, basement styling for 1998, providing
expansive interior living space, as well as astonishing storage
capabilities. Four new models join the Suncruiser lineup for a total
of seven models for 1998. They range in length from approximately 30
to 37 feet.

The widebody design of the Suncruiser provides a spacious interior
width of eight feet. In addition, four slideout models are offered
for 1998, including three models -- the 33WQ (available January 1998),
35WP and 37WW -- that are available with the new StoreMore(TM)
slideout system. This new slideout system adds approximately 120 cubic
feet of living area inside the motor home when extended. Storage is
also maximized with full overhead cabinets inside, and large laminated
exterior storage compartments that extend with the slideout for ease
of retrieval of stored items. A raised floor design provides deep,
well-insulated storage compartments with pass-through storage
available on most models.

The new 33WQ features a standard galley slide that includes a
double-sink, three-burner stove, microwave, beautiful custom-built
cabinets, and a convertible couch/bed that extends when you're
ready to set up camp. The remaining slideout models feature a
comfortable couch/bed with moveable coffee table and a dinette or an
optional drop-leaf table with chairs.

Featuring Home Comfort Design, the Suncruiser uses only high-line
fabrics, stain-resistant carpets and beautiful interior furnishings
with very functional floor plans. Suncruiser models feature three
beautiful interior color choices, cabinetry in either Waterford Oak or
Washed Maple and two choices of exterior paint colors.

An aerodynamic front-end design, as well as large panoramic windshield
and side windows provide superior driver and passenger field of
vision. Comfortable high-back driver's seat with adjustable lumbar
support, adjustable height shoulder belt on the three-point seat belts
and a great stereo system also make driving the Suncruiser a treat.

The Suncruiser is ready to travel in all kinds of weather. The 3
1/4-inch roof has an extremely high 'R' rating factor of 14.62.
The roof air conditioning is ducted through the roof with dampening,
directional vents so that the cooled air may be distributed
efficiently and quietly throughout the entire motor home. Heated
holding tank compartments are available on all models and dual-pane
windows are also available as an option to increase the use of the
Suncruiser on a year-round basis.

Some new options available on the 1998 Suncruiser include a mobile
theater system for great surround-sound affects. A new AM/FM/CD
in-dash stereo is also available, as well as a AM/FM/CD stereo in the
exterior entertainment center. A new slide-out workstation that is
mounted on top of the passenger side of the dashboard is now available
and works great for working on your computer or for writing home to
recount your adventures to your loved ones. A large side-by-side
refrigerator and a microwave/convection oven are now available in the
galley. A driver's door is also available on all models.

The Suncruiser's one-piece fiberglass roof, provides structural
integrity and doesn't expand and contract, or tear like rubber
membranes. The fiberglass roof is backed by a 10-year parts and labor
warranty, while the fiberglass sidewall material is also covered by a
10-year warranty.

A leader in service and warranty, Winnebago Industries provides a 12
month/15,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty on the Suncruiser with a
limited warranty on lamination for 3 years/36,000 miles. Every new
owner of a 1998 Suncruiser automatically also receives a free one-year
