SCCA Pro Racing Motorola Cup Series: 12 Races for 1998

MOTOROLA CUP SLATES 12-RACE SCHEDULE

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--The 1998 Motorola Cup Series, administered by the
Berman Motorsports Group (BMG) and sanctioned by SCCA Pro Racing in the
United States and ASN Canada FIA in Canada, will consist of 12 events in
North America and Canada.

The 12-race schedule begins January 30 at Daytona as part of the
Rolex 24 at Daytona weekend, and will be filled in with dates at the
following venues: Mont-Tremblant, Watkins Glen, Mosport Park,
Trois-Rivieres, Toronto, Lime Rock Park, The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course,
Montreal, Homestead and Road Atlanta.

The 1998 Motorola Cup Series rule book is being finalized and will
be available soon. Vehicle competition requirements will be consistent with
current American street stock endurance racing, and the only significant
rule changes include those designed to reduce operating costs, improve
performance and simplify vehicle maintenance.

BMG will administer all aspects of The Motorola Cup Series. All
competitor and entrant information and services, series rules and
regulations, series officials as well as sponsor and event activities will
be provided by BMG. 

An information package, currently available at the SCCA booth at
the PRI Show in Columbus, is being mailed from the race series office to
all competitors and entrants who have contacted the series office or SCCA.
