Alwin Springer Joins USRRC Board of Directors

For Immediate Release ALWIN SPRINGER JOINS USRRC BOARD OF DIRECTORS DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (January 31, 1998)—Alwin Springer, Director of Porsche Motorsport, North America, has joined the United States Road Racing Championship Board of Directors, serving as the Board’s eighth member. Springer, who serves on the Board as a GT representative, joins Chairman Bob Snodgrass, Nick Craw, Kevin Doran, Rob Dyson, Carl Haas, Don Panoz and John Saunders. ”We’re pleased Alwin has accepted to serve on the USRRC Board of Directors,” said Snodgrass. “Alwin represents a large contingent of teams and drivers participating in the USRRC, and he has played a major role in sports car racing in the United States.
