Brazilian Racing Notes: Max Wilson
10 February 1998
Brazilian driver Max Wilson will compete in 1998 for Edenbridge Racing in F-3000. The brazilian was named the rookie of the year in the F-3000 series in 1997 and will try to clinch the series title for Brazil, following the 1997 footsteps of fellow Brazilian Ricardo Zonta. Max Wilson will have two big targets in 1998, to clinch the title and to be a successful test driver for Williams in F-1. Wilson and colombian Juan Pablo Montoya were the two drivers that Williams selected to be their test drivers in the 1998 season. "This season will be very special for me, as it was my dream since I started racing to drive a F-1 car. Now I must have a good focus and I cant forget that I must succeed in F-3000 and as a test driver, so I must give 110% of me in both activities." said Wilson in an interview today before returning to Great Britain.
