Kenny Jacobs Recovering; Thanks to Fans

Holmesville,OH--National Sprint Car star KENNY JACOBS of Holmesville,OH,continues to recuperate from injuries sustained several weeks ago at Lincoln (PA) Speedway. Jacobs suffered an upper compressed sixth vertabrae and two broken ribs. He is the driver of the Tim Hughes-owned Hughes Motor Sports #94,which competes regularly on the All Star Circuit of Champions.Jacobs recovery has gone extremely well,due in part to his excellent health and physical condition. Im doing real well, said Jacobs recently,adding,Everything looks excellent. The doctor said I could take the brace off this coming week when Im at home and I can start doing some excerises,like sit-ups. Jacobs and Hughes have hoped he would recovery in time for the next All Star event,which is slated for April 4 at Eldora (OH) Speedway. It looks like Jacobs will have little trouble making it.
The week before Eldora I have another doctors appointment and he has some excersises he wants me to do, explained Jacobs. If I can do everything he wants without breaking a sweat Ill get the OK to run Eldora. Whatever he wants,Ill do,I just cant wait to get back in that car!
One of his sponsors has come to his aid. Butlerbuilt sent a seat to me today,its similar to what the Winston Cup drivers use. It has impact resistant material in it which should be a big help, said Jacobs.
Jacobs was also adament about thanking his many supporters during his recuperation. Ive got to thank everyone! Man,the fan support,the support from everyone,has been tremendous! Even people I dont know,or hardly know,have sent cards,flowers,letters and e-mail. Its been great, exclaimed Jacobs. I feel real fortunate and blessed to have people respond the way they have. Fans, drivers, owners,promoters,the media,everyone,its been tremendous and I truly appreciate it. Racing has the greatest people in the world! And I want to thank each and every one of them!
