BRITISH F-3

Enrique Bernoldi, the Brazillian driver for the Promatecme Team, won
the first race of the British F3 championship at Donington Park. The 19
year old Brazilian from Curitiba, fifth in last year's championship,
broke the lap record of this track on the way to his win.  

Bernoldi won from pole position followed by TOMS Toyota driver Martin
O'Connell who took the second spot. The Paul Stewart drivers, rookie
Luciano Burti and Mario Haberfeld took third and fourth positions with
Marc Hynes and Jamie Spence in fifth and sixth.
