Mark Green, driver of the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo, has completed all but 12 laps (972 of 984, 98.8%) but has only one top 10 finish to show for his efforts.
"The Timber Wolf/Brewco Motorsports team is a much stronger team in 1997 than it was in 1998 but it just hasn't shown," said Green. "The only element missing from our team this season is old-fashioned racing luck."
The past three races have resulted in three crashed Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlos.
"We got caught in someone else's mess at Las Vegas on the last lap," explained Green. "At Nashville, we got turned around and crashed with eight laps to go and then last week contact from another car sent us into the wall. We need to get this monkey off our back to showcase the strength and depth of this team."
On Thursday, April 2, Mark Green will sign autographs at Diamond Shamrock on 2525 Brown Blvd in Arlington,Texas from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
White's Fresh Foods, a grocery store chain with 20 locations in the greater Tri-Cities area in Tennessee, is an associate sponsor on the No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet Monte Carlo for the Moore's Snacks 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
