ATLANTIC: PDR Unveils New Image for 1998 Water Joe Racing Campaign

1 April 1998

CORONA, Calif.: As El Nino visited the Inland Empire of Riverside County, Calif., this past weekend it could not deter PDR Enterprises and driver Michael Todd David from their commitment to a local community event, the Corona-Norco Health & Safety Fair.

Under cloudy skies, torrential rain and an occasional hail storm, race fans lined up to get an autographed poster of Michael Todd David and ask questions about his upcoming race, the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach scheduled for Saturday April 4th. They were also among the first fans to see the vibrant Water Joe Racing color scheme of Sapphire Blue, Magenta and Neon Green that replaced PDR's traditional red, silver and black.

"We were still putting this new Swift together last night," David noted. "The paint is barely dry!" "You certainly won't miss me out on the track, the new colors really pop in the sunlight."

Event Co-chairman Cindy Holmes said "It's really great when people like Mr. David take time from their busy schedule to support their community. It means a lot to us. We knew his team is busy getting preparing for Long Beach but to have the Water Joe car and driver here for hometown fans to see in person is wonderful."
