WOO: WOO Chapel Service Success; More Scheduled

Wooster,OH---This Friday afternoon the WORLD OF OUTLAWS CHAPEL SERVICE will be holding services at the Terre Haute Action Track in Terre Haute,IN,prior to the evenings WoO racing event. The newly formed Chapel Service debuted last month at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg,OH. Over 200 people attended the services and a group of 60 people comprised the choir and band. The initial World of Outlaws Chapel Service was a rousing success and warmly greeted by competitors,crew,owners,officials and others. Services will be held on the grounds of the speedway from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.The World of Outlaws Chapel Service was formed by Patti Haudenschild, wife of WoO star Jac Haudenschild,and the Rev. Jim Wahlie, a former WoO car owner. Rev. Wahlie serves as chaplain for the group while Mrs. Haudenschild serves as coordinator. A tentative schedule for future WoO Chapel Services gatherings has been released. The next,tentative gathering will be May 22 at Williams Grove Speedway. Either Channellock or Pennzoil will be providing a tent for those wishing to attend. Most WoO Chapel Service gatherings will be held from 3:00-4:00 pm.
