American IndyCar Series Update

The American IndyCar Series, in its tenth season, is acquired by Pan American Motorsports, Inc. The American IndyCar Series is NOT a vintage racing series as perceived but a series that allows a more reasonable cost entry into racing Indy Cars. Most cars are powered by 700+ hp Chevy 6 liter engines. Rules allow cars to be up to 7 years old. The acquisition is by a group or racing business types who have observed that the lack of promotion and exposure has failed to provide this exciting series the recognition it deserves.
