INDIANAPOLIS, Ind - Harrah's Las Vegas Casino/Hotel considers its alliance with A.J. Foyt Enterprises a sure bet. Foyt has won the Indianapolis 500 Indy four times and is a favorite to win at Indy this year as a team owner.

"A.J. is one of our favorite guests. He always stays with us when in town. He support us, so we should support him." Harrah's spokesperson Cheryl Terhune-Honore stated. "The new Las Vegas Motor Speedway has already given Las Vegas a tremendous economic boost. We can now reach a new customer base, the race fan. After attending the first IRL race at the Speedway, we decided to become more involved; support a great team and promote the new series."

"We have spent more than $200 million in renovations on our property." Terhune-Honore continued. "Our regular customers love the new changes, and now we want to reach the race fans through an advertising campaign during the Indianapolis 500."

Harrah's Las Vegas started their support of A.J. Foyt Enterprises last year during the October IRL race and expanded their support for 1998 to include the Indianapolis 500 and several other selected IRL events.

The Harrah's logo will appear on A.J. Foyt Enterprises No. 14 Pep Boys Indy Racing League car starting on the front row and driven by Kenny Brack in the 1998 Indianapolis 500.
