Its been a season of highs and lows for the Clarks Summit (PA) based team, and Suprick is looking forward to the challenge of running with the World of Outlaws. Suprick says, We are very excited about our first national television race. In our first full season of Central PA 410-action, we are thrilled with running with the World of Outlaws at one of the most prestigious Sprint Car tracks. We want to have a good couple of shows at Williams Grove, and put on a good show for our supporters at Everlast Quality Natural Stone, Pennzoil, and Afco.

Flashback: 1997 Suprick/Deuel Motorsports World of Outlaws Highlights:

(6-1-97, Orange County Fair Speedway) Suprick/Deuel Motorsports joined the World of Outlaws for their New York State swing beginning Sunday at Orange County Fair Speedway. After qualifying via a fifth place in the B-Main, Suprick began the 25-lap event from the 23rd spot on the grid. When the checkered flag waived, it was an 18th place finish in the books in the event won by Stevie Smith. Following the race Suprick said, It was a lot of work tonight. We had to make a lot of adjustments, but we defiantly have the power with the 410 and were looking for continued improvement throughout the week.

(6-2-97, Lebanon Valley Speedway) Monday night saw the World of Outlaws invade the 1/2-mile Lebanon Valley Speedway. George Suprick qualified for the A-Main thanks to a fourth place finish in the B-Main. The 25-lap A-Main featured green flag racing from start to finish. When the dust cleared and the checkered flag flew, it was a 20th place finish in the event won by Sammy Swindell. The #87 posted fast times all throughout the A-Main, and following the race, Suprick said, Twentieth doesnt really reflect the run we had tonight. Were happy we ran faster tonight than we did at Middletown. Like at Orange County, I may have been intimidated by the combination of size of the track and the power of the 410 at first, but by the time it was the A-Main, things were going good. The whole team is happy with the way things turned out and I wish we were coming right back here instead of waiting another year to return.

(6-4-97, Rolling Wheels Speedway) George Suprick and the Suprick/Deuel Motorsports Racing Team posted the 21st fastest qualifying in time trials for the third event on the World of Outlaws swing through Upstate New York. Starting on the pole in the heat race, Suprick was battling Johnny Herrara for the final transfer position when a broken connecting rod ended the night early for the #87. Team Co-owner Dr. John Deuel says, Were obviously disappointed with how the evening ended. Rolling Wheels offered us a home track advantage here, and we were looking good throughout the night. Overall, were happy that we could run competitively with the Outlaws this week, and we gained a tremendous amount of knowledge that will be put to use in the future.

Up Next: On the schedule, Suprick/Deuel Motorsports will take part in World of Outlaw events at Orange County Speedway on Sunday, Lebanon Valley Speedway on Monday, Rolling Wheels Raceway next Wednesday, and Canandaguia Speedway on Thursday.
