Caca Bueno, from Brazil, secured his and Peugeot's first victory at the South-American Touring Car Championship, today, at the Ayrton Senna circuit, in Londrina.

Bueno completed the 34 laps race in 45'37"125, "769 ahead of Argentinean Cocho Lopez (Alfa Romeo 155) with Ingo Hoffmann (BMW320i), crossing the finish line in third, half a second behind Lopez. After three races, Bueno is the new championship leader, two points ahead of Oscar Larrauri, who retired after colliding with Pablo Peón (Chrysler Stratus), who finished eight overall. The series continues on July 5th, at Posadas (Argentina).

"The car was simply perfect. This first win, for both myself and my team, is very important for our chances in the championship", said Bueno from the top of the podium.
