Quotes from Mike McLaughlin, 1997 Busch Series Most Popular Driver on Dover:

"Dover holds a special place in my heart with the win in 1995. That was my first ever Busch win and I will never forget the feeling I had that afternoon. I would love to recreate the magic this weekend and pick up another victory. We are taking a real good race car and the team has worked extra hard in preparing it. The keys to winning will be to qualify up front, have excellent pit stops and stay out of trouble. If we can accomplish all three of those things, we should be able to leave Dover with a solid finish."

"The past few weeks have been a lot of fun for the whole Goulds Pumps Racing Team. The cars have been awesome to drive and the pit crew has been doing an incredible job on their stops. Those guys work so hard and deserve lots of credit."
