What:   The Country Cupboard "150" is Race No. 6 in the NASCAR Goody's
Dash
Series 1998 Schedule.

Where:  Lanier National Speedway, Braselton, GA. A .375 mile semi-banked
oval.
The speedway is located 4.5 miles north of I-85 (exit 49) on SR 53.

When:   Saturday, June 13, 1998 - 7:00 p.m.

Distance:       150 Laps  (56.25 Miles)

Inspection
10:00 a.m. Mandatory Rookie Drivers Meeting 11:30 a.m. (at the Dash
Trailer)
Practice 12:00 -2:00 p.m. Draw for Qualifying 2:15 p.m. Mandatory Driver
and
Crew Chief Meeting 2:30 p.m. Time Trials (2 laps) 5:30 p.m.

Posted Awards:  $23,700 Including Promoters Purse, Cash Contingency
Awards,
$1600 NASCAR Goody's Dash Series Championship Points Fund and
$2500 NASCAR Goody's Dash Series Top 20 Bonus Plan.

     Qualifying Record - 14.133 sec.  95.521 mph Monk Gulledge May 3,
1997.
     Race Record - There will be a new race record for this first 150-lap
event.
**This will be the eighth event for the Goody's Dash Series at Lanier
National
Speedway since 1987. Larry Caudill won the first two Dash Series races
here in
'87 and '88. Other past winners here include, Shawna Robinson '89, Mickey
York
'90, George Crenshaw '91, Danny Bagwell '95 and Mike Swaim Jr. '97. George
**Crenshaw is the only Goody's Dash Series driver to date that has won an
event here from the pole.
**This race has been extended this year to 150 laps.
Note: Prior to 1992, some records may be incomplete.

                                               Field: 28 fastest

plus two provisionals.
