Tracks: Bloomington Speedway Rained Out Again

BLOOMINGTON, IN (June 5, 1998) - Bloomington Speedway's racing event scheduled for tonight has been cancelled because of wet facilities. Heavy overnight and morning rains have caused problems where new sewer lines were recently installed in the track's pit area. Mr. Backward's motorcycle jump has been rescheduled for Friday, June 26.

The next racing event will be the exciting Pennzoil World of Outlaws event on Friday, June 12. This race will pay $7,000 to the winner. The program includes open wheel modifieds. Gates open at 3 pm. Hot laps and qualifying at 6:30 pm, racing at 7:45. General admission is $25, pits $30. Kids 12 and under - $5. For more information please phone 812-824-7400.
