Midgets: NAMARS Winchester Race Loaded with Stars

By LES MESZAROSLANSING, MI -- This Friday's NAMARS Auto Value midget race at Winchester Speedway is loaded with talent. Between 25 to 30 midgets should be on hand for the 25-lap $2000 to win high banks challenge. Among the entries all ready received are Jimmy Kite, Jay Drake, Ricky Shelton, Nick Fornoro and Danny Drinan. With an entry list like this, the action should be furious. In addition to the midgets, over 40 modifieds should be on hand along with the NAMARS Rally Trucks. Admission for this exciting show is a mere $10.
So far this season in the first 9 races NAMARS has 9 different winners and Friday may be number 10. This may be a record for any racing series starting out the season.
