In the three races since, Hampton has won two, and cut the lead to 19 with four races remaining.

Besnard is on pace for a record-setting season. He has already eclipsed the season earnings record with $41,250 (old record, $32,200, Steve Knapp, 1996). With four races remaining, he is also two poles and wins away from tying season records (poles: 7, Knapp, 1996; wins: 7, Chris Simmons, 1993).
