* Billy Boat posted the third fastest lap of the day in practice today for the Radisson 200 at Pikes Peak International Raceway. His fastest time was 20.586 seconds (174.876 mph).
* "It feels good to be back in the car and at a race. My leg feels better in running in the top three than it did in the top 15," said Billy, who was 15th fastest in the first practice session of the day. "We went out in our backup car (in the second session) with a different setup. Back to what we had last year. We tried something new in the first session that didn't work. We went back to what we know."
* The Radisson 200 marks Billy's return after missing two Pep Boys IRL events because of a broken femur caused by an accident in New Hampshire. Physically he is in top form with the exception of not being able to place full weight on his broken left leg. About having to walk on crutches he says, "I don't need to be able to walk-I just need to drive."
* Live coverage of the Radisson 200 qualifying will be on Speedvision at 2:00 p.m. (EDT) on Saturday, August 15. Live race coverage will be on ABC on Sunday, August 16 at 4:00 p.m. (EDT).
