NASCAR GDS: Goody's Dash Series TV Schedule Expands

Daytona Beach, Fla. -Officials of the Goody's Dash Series announced today the expansion of the schedule of televised events for the NASCAR touring series through the remainder of the 1998 racing season.

Added to the list of televised events in 1998 are the Oct. 24, 150-lap event at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Fla. and the season ending 75-mile event at the Homestead Motorsports Complex at Homestead, Fla. on Nov. 15.

The USA International event will be recorded by Thunder Sports Television for a tape delay broadcast on Fox Sports South and the Sunshine Network, according to Production Executive, Bill Hennecy. The date and time for the broadcast will be announced at a later date, but tentative scheduling has it airing sometime in November.

ESPN executives confirmed that ESPN2 will air the Homestead event nationally on a tape delay basis Sunday Nov. 22 at 12 noon.

The addition of these two events brings the total number of televised events for the Series to five in 1998.
