The Great American Race FairThe ARL will be appearing at The Great American Race Fair on October 16, 1998 at City Island in Daytona Beach, FL. The club will be providing a display of vintage race cars and many of our legend drivers will be on hand to sign autographs and talk with the fans. The festivities will also include a concert by Mark Collie, John Anderson, and The Charlie Daniels Band.
The Auto Racing Legends 5th Annual Reunion Party
The Auto Racing Legends are gearing up for The ARL 5th Annual Reunion Party which will tae place at the Daytona Beach Hilton Oceanfront Resort on Wednesday evening, February 10, 1999. Three buffets will be served throughout the evening and there will be a cash bar. Music will be provided by Wild Honey. The party will begin at 6pm.
The club has gathered hundreds of door prizes and gift certificates to be given away, including a NASCAR flag autographed by the Winston Cup drivers as well as many other autographed items. The club will also be giving away a limited edition print of Tim Flock along with a scale modell of his stock car which was donated to the club by artist Bill Rankin. the annual yearbook will be designed by an art student from Volusia County in honor of The ARL Racing for Education Program. Proceeds from the party will benefit The ARL Racing for Education Program.
During the evening, the club will announce the recipient(s) and present the award for the 1999 ARL Legend Emeritus.
The Reunion Party is designed to bring racers and racing enthusiasts together for a casual fun filled evening. The party is open to anyone interested n motor racing. It is a time to renew old friendships and to make new ones.
