WOO: Outlaws Postpone Bloomington Race a Third Time

1 October 1998

BLOOMINGTON, IN - The third time wasn't the charm for the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series Wednesday at Bloomington Speedway.

The series postponed the $40,000 event a third time when rain made the semi-banked, 1/4-mile oval in Steve Kinser's home town unsafe for racing.

The race, originally scheduled for June 12th, re-scheduled for July 15th and postponed to September 30th, will be run - weather permitting - Thursday, October 8th.

The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series' next stop is Williams Grove Speedway, where it will sanction the 36th Annual Williams Grove National Open Friday and Saturday.
