NOTES AND QUOTES:
"We are introducing a new Eagle race recommendation at the IndyCarnival, which features a new compound and new front construction," said Steve Orlando, Goodyears CART operations manager. The new compound and new construction were developed during recent tests conducted at Sebring International Raceway. "The results of our testing demonstrated improved grip and consistency over the compound used for the Vancouver recommendation. In addition, the new front construction provided for improved front tire performance."

"The long straights and tight corners of this street circuit, as with most street circuits, make qualifying a key factor in the outcome of the race. We are confident that this recommendation will enable our teams to qualify well and put them in contention to win," noted Orlando.

ESTIMATED PIT STOPS FOR THIS RACE:
Approximately every 20 laps (estimates based on fuel consumption).
