NASCAR TOURING

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Claremont, N.C. --The 1998 Goody's Dash Series champion, Robert Huffman of Claremont, N.C. announced today that the familiar yellow No. 37 White House Apple Juice Pontiac will have a slightly different look for the Series' season finale at Miami-Dade Homestead Motorsports Complex, Nov. 15.

"Probably the biggest change that the fans will notice will be the new number on the car," said Huffman. "We're going to the number 90 for this event in honor of National Fruit Product Company's 90th birthday celebration. There'll be some other changes too, we've added some green to the hood and quarter panels to make the White House Apple Juice logo more visible, and things like that."

"We just felt like we wanted to do something special for the folks at white House. This is their sixth year in racing and their first championship so we thought we'd do something special with the car, just for them."

National Fruit Product Company is the parent Company of the White House Apple Juice brand headquartered in Winchester, Va., and the primary sponsor on Huffman's car for the past three years. Vice-President of Marketing, Dan Troup expressed the Company's pride in being associated with NASCAR, and of course, the Goody's Dash Series championship team.

"We're extremely proud of Robert's performance on and off the track," said Troup. "He's always done everything we needed of him and more. We couldn't have asked for a better representative. It's an honor for us to be associated with Robert as the Dash Series Champion, and especially to have the championship coincide with NASCAR's 50th anniversary and our 90th."

As part of the championship celebration at the Homestead speedway Troup and National Fruit Products Assistant Vice-President of Marketing, Bill Armstrong will be on hand in Victory Lane along with three lucky employees to take part in Huffman's official crowning ceremonies as the 1998 Goody's Dash Series Champion.
