Midgets: Racing Format Set for Fort Wayne Indoor Show

By LES MESZAROSFORT WAYNE, IN - The race format for the upcoming indoor "Rumble at the EXPO" has been released. The racing scheduled for Saturday and Sunday December 26 & 27 in the NEW EXPANDED Fort Wayne Memorial Coliseum Exposition Center will consist of NAMARS midgets, dwarf cars and go-karts.
On Saturday racing will start at 7:30 PM and the dwarf cars will be first with two 10-lap heats of 9 cars with 2 transferring to Sunday's feature. Next up will be the midgets with the same format. Go-karts will be next with a 10-lap heat for the 2-cycle karts and the same for the 4-cycle karts. Then the entire schedule repeats with two 20-lap features for the 2 and 4-cycle karts finishing the evening.
The Sunday format starts at 2:00 PM with two 10 lap, 8 car dwarf last chance races. The midgets will then have two 20 lap, 13 car last chance races with 4 cars from each transferring to the feature. The dwarf cars come back for a 15 lap "B" main and then a 25 lap "A" main. Then the midgets return for their 100-lap feature starting 16 cars to finish the weekend.
