WoO: Luxaire to Sponsor Andy Hillenburg in 1999

NORMAN, OK - Luxaire Heating & Air Conditioning has reached an agreement with Andy Hillenburg to sponsor his team during the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series' 1999 season.

The agreement with Hillenburg marks the first year of Luxaire's involvement with the Pennzoil World of Outlaws sprint car racing series.

"It's going to be great having Luxaire on our car for the 1999 racing season," Hillenburg said. "The series keeps growing, and it takes companies like Luxaire to ensure that growth. We're ready to take them to victory lane."

Hillenburg, 33, has finished in the top six in the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series point standings each of the last seven seasons. He finished sixth while winning three "A" Features in 1998. Andy has also qualified for a Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series record 457 straight "A" Features. He received the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series Rookie of the Year award in 1988.

Ted Altmire, Communications Programs Manager for YORK International's Unitary Products Group, is equally excited about the sponsorship.

"Our dealers, contractors and employees are all motorsports fans," Altmire said. "Luxaire's NASCAR program has developed into one of our top sales and marketing tools. Now, by duplicating our NASCAR marketing program success in the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series, we'll have put together plenty of Luxaire racing excitement at over 100 events in 37 states."

Luxaire also sponsors Matt Kenseth on the NASCAR Busch Grand National tour.
