Midgets: Driver Roster Complete for Fort Wayne Indoor Show

By LES MESZAROSFORT WAYNE, IN - The driver roster for the upcoming indoor "Rumble at the EXPO" is now complete. The indoor midget race scheduled for Saturday and Sunday December 26 & 27 in the NEW EXPANDED Fort Wayne Memorial Coliseum Exposition Center will have 36 midget drivers representing 8 states.
Indiana leads the way with 15 drivers entered, Illinois is second with 8, Ohio has 6 and Michigan 3. There are just 1 driver from Kentucky, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Wisconsin. The field includes NAMARS 1998 National Champion Matt Westfall and 1998 NAMARS feature winners Tony Elliott, Kevin Newton, A.J. Davis, Nick Lundgreen and A.J. Fike. Also competing will be three time NAMARS National champion and racing legend Mel Kenyon, along with MARA champion Donnie Lehmann and UMARA champion David Gough.
The remainder of this talented field includes: Dave Darland, Kevin Besecker, Robby Parish, Donnie Beechler, Sondi Eden, Matt Estep, Tony Reed, Jason Fuller, Roy Caruthers, Rich Corson, Mike Mann, Jerry Nemire, John Meyers, John Sluss, Brian Tyler, Chuck Leary, Walt Stearly, Chad Davenport, J.D. Turner, Don Moore, Jim Sawyer, Wayne Chinn, Aaron Fike, J.R. Armstrong, Mike Fedorcak, Dave Baumgartner and Derek Davidson.
