NASCAR: Dale Earnhardt Jr will be Part of Pennzoil Motorsports '99

FORT WASHINGTON, PA - One of the most exciting young talents in auto racing, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will be part of the Pennzoil Motorsports '99 Auto Racing Trade Show. The three day show, January 15 through 17, at the Fort Washington (PA) Expo Center is expected to attracted more than 50,000 people.

Earnhardt won seven races on his way to the 1998 NASCAR Busch Series Grand National championship in 1998. The young racer will return to driver his ACDelco sponsored Chevrolet, owned by his dad, to try to his second straight title.

However near the end of the season Earnhardt will have the opportunity to drive in five NASCAR Winston Cup races in a Budweiser sponsored Chevy. Also part of the deal will be Pennzoil's The Outlaw Performance Additive serving as an associate sponsor. The team, owned by Dale Earnhardt, Inc., will field Chevrolets sponsored by Budweiser and Outlaw Performance Additive to run full schedules of Winston Cup racing starting in the year 2,000.

As part of the Pennzoil sponsorship of the Pennzoil Motorsports '99 Auto Racing Trade Show, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be on hand along with Winston Cup racer Steve Park to sign autographs on Saturday, January 16. The exact time of the autograph session has not be set.

Earnhardt and Park along with three time Indianapolis 500 winner Johnny Rutherford will be part of activities in the 5,000 square foot Pennzoil display area.

The Pennzoil display area will include Pennzoil sponsored cars such as Steve Park's Winston Cup #1 Chevy, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Budweiser/Outlaw Additives Winston Cup #3, Eddie Hill's NHRA Top Fuel Dragster, Scott Goodyear's Pep Boy's Indy Racing League car, Mike Thomas's NHRA Pro Stock drag racer, a Pennzoil tractor pull vehicle, a Pennzoil Legend car, and the Pennzoil display trailer that appears at all Winston National Hot Rod Association events.

Fans are reminded that the Pennzoil display of cars will be in addition to the more than 125 motor sports vehicles that will be on display throughout the show.

The Pennzoil Motorsports '99 Auto Racing Trade Show includes more than 275,000 square feet of everything related to motor sports.
