ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 10, 1998 - TransWorld Diversified Services, Inc. has agreed to a multiyear, broad-based partnership with the Pep Boys Indy Racing League, including title sponsorship of the season-opening event at Orlando, Fla.

The season-opening race at Walt Disney World Speedway now is known as the TransWorld Diversified Services Indy 200. The 1999 season opens with this event Sunday, Jan. 24, televised live on ABC.

TransWorld Diversified Services, based in Tampa, Fla., provides exceptional staffing services, comprehensive computer skill development and leading-edge technological solutions to its clients.

"The Pep Boys Indy Racing League is thrilled to have such an innovative, exciting company like TransWorld Diversified Services join us as a promotional partner and sponsor of the TransWorld Diversified Services Indy 200 at the Walt Disney World Speedway," said John Newcomb, Indianapolis Motor Speedway/Pep Boys Indy Racing League vice president of sales & marketing.

Other key components of the alliance between TransWorld and the Pep Boys IRL include:

.TransWorld will be the "Official Computer Technology and Staffing Provider" to the Pep Boys IRL and the Indianapolis 500. TransWorld will use its staffing and technology divisions to increase the exposure and efficiency of the league and its events.

.TransWorld will be the "Official Timing and Scoring Provider" to the Pep Boys IRL and the Indianapolis 500. TransWorld will provide all timing and scoring data to fans at the track, the media and the Internet.

.TransWorld will be the only licensed provider of an interactive network at all Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation-owned tracks, including the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

.TransWorld will administer a new Pep Boys IRL interactive road show. This travelling show will educate fans about the Pep Boys IRL and the Indianapolis 500 in cities throughout the United States.

.TransWorld also will entertain youths from selected charities and groups at all Pep Boys IRL events, including the Indianapolis 500.

"This deal came about after being involved last year in the IRL as a team sponsor," said Skip Glass, TransWorld Diversified Services president. "The more we learned about motorsports and the more we interacted with the people from Indy, the more we realized there was tremendous value in a partnership. "The opportunity to showcase our products and services internationally before millions of viewers, as well as provide the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Pep Boys Indy Racing League and its other partners with our products and services opens a whole new marketplace internationally."

As further evidence of its deepening ties with the Pep Boys IRL, TransWorld Diversified Services will continue its title sponsorship of McCormack Motorsports and the TransWorld Racing-McCormack Motorsports G Force/Aurora entry driven by Raul Boesel. The company started its sponsorship of the McCormack team at the 1998 Indianapolis 500 and was first exposed to the Pep Boys IRL when team owners Dennis and Felicia McCormack invited Glass to be their guest at the 1998 Indy 200 at Walt Disney World Speedway.

"When we look for business associations or sponsorship opportunities, we only want to work with someone who understands our commitment to success as well as to disadvantaged or challenged youth," Glass said. "The owners of McCormack Motorsports understand and agree that the business alliance of TransWorld Racing and McCormack Motorsports is in place to put TransWorld's name in the winner's circle while introducing disadvantaged or challenged youth to racing and the elements required to win."
