Exclusive Live 'On the Net' Broadcasts from Speedweeks '99

AUTO CENTRAL, February 11, 1999--For the second year in row, race enthusiasts from around the world have been able to follow live Daytona Speedweeks action from the comfort of their computer screen via THE AUTO CHANNEL Internetwork at "http://www.theautochannel.com/news/events/99daytona_speedweeks/index.html".

Going into the final weekend, and Sunday's climactic race, THE AUTO CHANNEL continues to broadcast on-site interviews, up to the minute race results, and extensive press conferences directly from Daytona Beach, Florida. Live in-car transmissions between drivers and their pit crews, such as Adam Petty, Lyndon Amick, and Angie Wilson, will provide fans with unique, inside perspective on all the action of the IROC race on Friday and the Busch Grand National event on Saturday. The competition for Sunday's 41st Annual Daytona 500 Winston Cup race will be, as always, fierce. Three-time Winston Cup Champion Jeff Gordon has the pole position.
