Five Grand Prizes Awarded in Kmart/Loadhandler Sweepstakes

               Winners Announced at Loadhandler 200 NASCAR Race

    TROY, Mich., July 1 -- Loadhandler 200 1997 champion, Ron
Hornaday, wasn't the only winner associated with the titled NASCAR race held
on June 21.  The five grand prize winners of the Kmart/Loadhandler Great Truck
Giveaway were announced during the prime time broadcast of the NASCAR Truck
series event.  Jointly sponsored by Kmart Corporation and
Loadhandler Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of innovative cargo management
auto accessories, the Great Truck Giveaway culminated with the award of five
full-size Ford F-150 pick-up trucks in conjunction with the race.
    Drawn from thousands of entries across the country, the winners are
Jeanette Espinosa of Fairview, New Mexico; Thomas L. Hoffman of Conway,
Arkansas; John F. Nita of Tallahassee, Florida; Ruth Schindler of Fort
Jennings, Ohio; and Mollie Walker of Dallas, Texas.  Grand prize winners will
receive their trucks in local ceremonies.
    The Great Truck Giveaway was launched on May 1, 1997, with thousands of
additional prizes awarded during the course of the sweepstakes.
    Loadhandler Industries, a privately held corporation headquartered in

    LOADHANDLER 200 RACE STATS: Ron Hornaday, Jr., (#16) led the Loadhandler
200 at Tennessee's Bristol Motor Speedway from start to finish.  Snagging his
12th win in the NASCAR Truck series, Hornaday finished the 200-lap race two
seconds ahead of second place winner Rich Bickle.  Jay Sauter and Rick Carelli
were third and fourth, respectively.  All top four racers were driving
Chevrolet trucks.  Hornaday took home $38,975 for his evening's work.
