AutoNation USA Issues Passport Card to Car BuyersNew Customer Benefits Include Roadside Assistance, Travel and Automotive Discounts FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., July 9 -- AutoNation USA announced today that it has signed an agreement with Boston-based Cross Country Motor Club to provide roadside assistance and trip routing services for consumers who purchase cars from AutoNation USA. The company also said that AutoNation USA customers will receive discounts on a wide range of goods and services offered by AutoNation USA divisions. The package of travel services and discounts is included in the AutoNation USA "Passport" Program. When purchasing a vehicle through AutoNation USA, every customer automatically becomes a "citizen" of AutoNation USA and receives a "passport." The passport entitles the citizen to roadside assistance and discount travel services provided by Cross Country Motor Club, and merchandise and service discounts at every AutoNation USA store. Cross Country Motor Club will provide AutoNation USA customers with a free roadside assistance package that includes a toll-free emergency number, tire changing, jump starts, fluid delivery, minor on-site repairs, parts replacement, emergency towing and lock-out assistance for one year. The company also will provide a 120-page AutoNation USA Travel and Recreation Discount Book and an International Hotel Discount Directory. AutoNation USA citizens also will be eligible for discounts on services provided at AutoNation USA Automotive Service Centers nationwide, and merchandise discounts at the AutoGear USA shops located inside AutoNation USA showrooms.
