Infiniti Announces July Sales

I30 Posts Best Month in Its Sales History
- Infiniti Division Sales Rise 71.9 Percent -
CARSON, Calif., Aug. 1, -- The Infiniti I30 luxury sedan
toppled all previous sales numbers, posting the best month in its history with
total vehicle sales of 3,871 units. Versus the same period last year, I30
sales increased 88 percent. Total July sales for Infiniti, the luxury
division of Nissan Motor Corporation U.S.A., rose 71.9 percent versus last
year with total sales of 6,624 units. Infiniti calendar year-to-date sales
were 37,107, up 24.5 percent.
The QX4 luxury sport utility vehicle also recorded an increase in July --
sales of 1,473 units yielded a 2.8 percent rise from last month. QX4 calendar
year-to-date sales totaled 9,814. July sales of the redesigned Q45,
Infiniti's flagship luxury performance sedan, reached 814 units, up 15.6
percent from June. The J30 personal luxury sedan turned in monthly sales of
464 units.
Total Nissan Motor Corporation U.S.A. sales for July, including Nissan and
Infiniti Divisions, were 60,545 units. Combined year-to-date sales for Nissan
and Infiniti Divisions were 450,305, up 5.7 percent.
