Acura Announces Pricing for 1998 TL Series and Integra

    TORRANCE, Calif., Oct. 20 -- Acura announced today pricing
for the 1998 TL Series of luxury Sports Sedans and the Integra line of Sports
Coupes and Sedans.
    Pricing for the 1998 Integra Sports Coupes range from $16,200 for the RS
with manual transmission to $22,100 for the GS-R with leather interior, while
prices for the Sports Sedans range from $20,000 for the LS with manual
transmission to $22,400 for the GS-R with leather interior.  Overall, prices
increased 1.4% based on a weighted average over last year.
    The innovative Acura TL Series is available in two distinct models -- the
sophisticated 3.2TL, powered by a 200-horsepower, 3.2-liter V-6, which does
not require a tune up for 100,000 miles, and the sporty 2.5TL, which offers a
2.5-liter engine that outputs 176-horsepower.  Manufacturer's suggested retail
price for the 2.5TL, is, $30,700 and $33,150 for the 3.2TL.
    Both the Integra and the TL Series offer more standard features this year
including a tilt- and height-adjustable driver's seat and new alloy wheels on
some of the Integra models, while the TL Series adds the convenience of heated
seats and door mirrors and the luxury of woodgrain trim.
    All Acura models are covered by a comprehensive 4-year/50,000-mile bumper-
to-bumper limited warranty.  Additional ownership benefits include Acura Total
Luxury Care (TLC), which provides free 24-hour roadside assistance, concierge
service and trip routing.
