Hasbro's Winner's Circle(TM) Continues Its Day at the Races with Driver Kenny Irwin and Car #27 in the NAPA 500

    ATLANTA, Nov. 13 -- Following his top ten finish in his 1997
Winston Cup Series debut, Kenny Irwin will make his fifth and final appearance
in the Hasbro and Action Performance-sponsored Car #27 featuring the signature
G.I. Joe(R) contemporary camouflage logo paint scheme.
    Hasbro, a worldwide leader in children's entertainment, and Action
Performance Companies are sponsoring Irwin's Car #27 on the Robert Yates
Racing Team for five 1997 Winston Cup Series races.  Hasbro, in its first-time
auto racing sponsorship, is the primary sponsor for four races, and the
primary associate for one race.
    Irwin's five-race schedule features four different paint schemes including
G.I. Joe in the NAPA 500 in Atlanta, GA, on November 16.  Previously, the
Tonka(R) car premiered in both the Exide NASCAR Select Batteries 400 in
Richmond, VA, and in the Hanes 500 in Martinsville, VA.   The Nerf and Action
Performance cars appeared in the AC Delco 400 in Rockingham, NC, and in the
Dura-Lube 500 in Phoenix, AZ, respectively.  Hasbro's Winner's Circle(TM)
brand logo will be featured on all of the Irwin #27 cars.

    WINNER'S CIRCLE BY HASBRO
    In October of 1996, Hasbro and Action Performance announced they had
signed contracts with a number of top professional auto race drivers, teams
and teams and sponsors to license the Winner's Circle line.  The line features
authentically styled replicas of the cars driven by auto racing's top drivers,
including 1/24th and 1/64th scale, radio-controlled vehicles SSP(TM) "rip-
stick" toy vehicles, as well as Starting Lineup(R) brand and other 12 inch
collectible figure replicas of the drivers themselves.  Winner's Circle is
developed jointly by Hasbro and Action Performance, with Hasbro manufacturing
and marketing the products to the mass market.
