Budget Offers Hot One-Way Rates to Florida

  -- Customers Can Road Trip to the Sunshine State for Just $14.95 a Day --

    LISLE, Ill., Nov. 19 -- Budget Rent a Car, the world's third
largest car and truck rental company, announces a One-Way drive program from
nearly 40 participating Budget airport locations in the Central and Eastern
regions to any one of more than 90 Budget locations in Florida.
    Budget customers driving one way to Florida can rent an intermediate (e.g.
Ford Contour, Mercury Mystique) or full size (e.g. Ford Taurus, Mercury Sable)
car for just $14.95 per day or $79.95 per week, including unlimited mileage.
Customers must reserve the car for pickup between now and December 15, 1997,
and request rate code "H4" at the time of reservation.  The rental period
cannot exceed 10 days.
    "Budget is very pleased to offer a valuable One-Way program for those
travelers looking to escape the early signs of winter," states Mark Sotir,
senior vice president, Worldwide Sales for Budget Rent a Car Corporation.
"Our customers receive the benefit of great rates and a scenic drive, while
Budget redistributes its fleet for the upcoming busy travel season in
Florida."

customers can call Budget's toll-free worldwide reservation number at
800-527-0700 or contact their travel professional.
    Advance reservations are required and weekly rates require a rental of six
or seven consecutive days.  This offer is not available with any other
discount or promotional offer.  Optional LDW is $16.99 per day or less, where
available.  Taxes, surcharges, additional driver fee and optional items, such
as refueling, are extra.  An airport concession fee may apply at some
airports.  Local rental and age requirements apply.  Locations that rent to
drivers under the age of 25 may impose an age surcharge.
