Low-Impact Utility Vehicle Named Among Top Construction Products of the Year

SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 15 -- SKIDTRAK 75, an ultra low-impact
utility vehicle, has been named as one of the top 100 new products of 1997 by
"Construction Equipment" magazine. The tracked machine, manufactured by LMC
Operating Corp. of Logan, Utah, is featured on the front cover of the
magazine's December issue.
SKIDTRAK is a heavy-duty, 75 horsepower vehicle which performs as a
hydrostatic loader, dozer or tool carrier. It is specifically designed and
engineered for jobs requiring high traction on soft ground with minimal ground
damage. With a ground pressure of less than two pounds per square inch,
SKIDTRAK is ideally suited for wet farms, marsh maintenance, orchards and
vineyards, landscaping and nurseries, grain elevators, excavating and snow
removal.
Unique features include automatic hydraulic tensioning of the 18" wide,
self-cleaning, steel-reinforced rubber track and a track platform that
maximizes stability when transporting loads. A universal mounting system
accommodates virtually any attachment, from augers, rakes and scarifiers to
pallet forks, sweepers, mud budgets and dozers. The machine has excellent
maneuverability and traction, even in soft soil or wet conditions where most
wheeled vehicles cannot operate.
SKIDTRAK is a product of LMC Operating Corp., one of the most experienced
soft-tracked vehicle manufacturers, having produced snow groomers and utility
vehicles since 1961.
