BMW European Delivery Program Combines Significant Savings And the Ultimate Driving Souvenir

WOODCLIFF LAKE, N.J., Dec. 16 -- Savvy BMW customers know
where to find significant savings on new BMWs -- at BMW retailers. By
ordering a new BMW to pick up in Munich, BMW's worldwide headquarters,
consumers can save up to ten percent on their new car.
    "The savings can range from $2,160 for a 318ti to $10,835 for a 75OiL,"
explains Michelle Jacobus, Special Sales Programs Manager for BMW of North
America, Inc. "Many of our customers choose to put that savings toward a
European vacation."
With BMW's European Delivery Program, BMW covers the cost of the
following:

-- 30 days of free premium road insurance.
-- Registration necessary to drive in Europe.
-- Shipping costs to transport the vehicle to the U.S. retailer where the
       car was purchased.

"The process is simple," says Jacobus. "Program participants purchase
their European-delivered BMW the same way they would buy any car -- by
visiting a U.S. retail center, taking a test drive, deciding on which model to
buy and choosing options. The BMW retailer handles all of the paperwork for
European Delivery."
Once customers arrive at the BMW Delivery Center in Munich, the process
takes no longer than a few hours. While waiting for their car, new owners
have the opportunity to enjoy a complimentary meal, shop in the BMW boutique
or visit the nearby BMW museum.
Jacobus says that last year more than 1,200 U.S. BMW buyers took advantage
of European Delivery. "There is no such thing as a typical European Delivery
customer," says Jacobus. "Our next car could go to a business executive
picking up a 7 series on the way to a meeting or to a family on their first
European vacation."
BMW entered the North American market in 1975. Since then, the company
has grown to include marketing, sales and financial services organizations in
the United States and Canada; a South Carolina manufacturing operation; a
design firm in California; and various other operations throughout the U.S.
and Canada. BMW is represented in North America through a network of more
than 375 automobile and 190 motorcycle retailers in the United States and
Canada. BMW (US) Holding Corp, the brand's North American headquarters, is
located in Woodcliff Lake, N.J.
