Mobile Security Communications Introduces Industry's First Wireless Security System That Fits on a Key Chain

CarCop Remote Response(TM) Provides 24-Hour Monitored
Safety, Security And Services From Your Home To Your Vehicle

ATLANTA, Jan. 2 -- The world of personal and vehicle security
makes another quantum leap with the introduction of CarCop Remote
Response(TM). Developed by Mobile Security Communications (MSC) the makers of
CarCop(R), this innovative protection system utilizes the latest in wireless
and satellite technology, establishing new industry standards in personal
protection and emergency response.
The excitement surrounding the new product centers on the unique remote
response key fob, a four-button wireless transmitter that is placed on the
driver's key chain or elsewhere within the vehicle. At the touch of a button,
drivers in or near the automobile activate a wireless link to ADT Security
Services, which monitors the system on a 24-hour basis. Two-way, hands-free
communication capabilities within the vehicle allow the ADT operator to
interact with the driver, and then dispatch the required emergency
professionals. In addition to emergency dispatch services, CarCop Remote
Response(TM) enables users to request roadside service, get directions when
lost, track unauthorized use of their vehicle by valets or service technicians
and remotely unlock their vehicle. In addition, CarCop Remote Response(TM)
provides a wireless link to a driver's home and family.
"We have developed CarCop Remote Response(R) to meet the consumer market's
demand for an affordable, simple-to-operate mobile interface that is not
dependent upon a separate wireless mobile phone activation," stated Ron
Harris, MSC's VP of Sales. "This is the only product that meets all of these
demands for a suggested retail price of under $500."
Rusty Gordon, President of MSC, said of the company's unique package
offering, "Once again, MSC has accomplished another industry first by
utilizing our strong corporate partnership with AT&T. This partnership allows
us to incorporate wireless service with MSC technology, thereby eliminating
the need for a separate, wireless phone activation. Consumers and fleets can
now take advantage of AT&T's convenient service with an integrated monthly
bill."
Mr. Gordon added, "MSC is the only company that meets three key dealer
needs; recognizable brand names of CarCop(R), with ADT and AT&T backing the
product, integrated wireless technology and a price point that will drive mass
consumer acceptance. It's a complete success formula for our resellers."
ADT, a subsidiary of Tyco International, is the largest single provider of
electronic security services in both North America and the United Kingdom. The
company provides continuous monitoring to over 1.8 million customers of
commercial and residential security systems in North America and Europe.
Mobile Security Communications, Inc., founded in 1992, is a leading
