Budget Adds Reno Air QQuick Miles to Frequent Flyer PartnershipsMembers Can Earn Double Points Through June 30, 1998 LISLE, Ill., March 17 -- Budget Rent a Car Corporation, the world's third largest car and truck rental company, announces a new partnership agreement with Reno Air, effective March 1, 1998. Reno Air serves over 22 U.S. and Canadian cities, primarily located in the western, northwestern, and southeastern regions of the U.S. As part of the partnership agreement, Reno Air will offer members of its newly formed QQuick Miles frequent flyer program the opportunity to earn mileage points at participating Budget Rent a Car locations. Reno Air frequent flyer customers can earn 250 mileage points for every minimum two-day rental at participating Budget locations. In order to receive miles, members must rent within 24 hours of their Reno Air flight and present their QQuick Miles membership card at the rental counter. To celebrate the launch of the partnership, participating Budget locations will award program members double (500) QQuick Miles for every qualifying rental from now through June 30, 1998. Mileage points can be redeemed for free flight upgrades or free Reno Air airline tickets. In addition to Reno Air QQuick Miles, Budget is a partner in many domestic and international airline frequent flyer programs including Aeromexico Club Premier, Air Canada Aeroplan, Air France Frequence Plus, Air New Zealand Air Points, Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan, Alitalia Mille Miglia, British Midland Diamond Club, El Al Israel Airlines Frequent Traveler Clubs, Lufthansa Miles & More, Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards, United Airlines Mileage Plus and Virgin Atlantic Freeway. Members of these programs who rent from Budget at participating locations worldwide, earn mileage points on all qualifying rentals which can be redeemed for car rental discounts, upgrades and free rental days.
